Results typically follow your Open Rate (OR) Click Through Rate (CTR) and Conversion Rate (CR) of your other marketing emails. Plan accordingly in terms of frequency and messaging to reach your goals.
Frequency – When creating a ShopRaise email campaign you should consider the frequency of your emails and the your signup goal. We have found that sending out at least two dedicated ShopRaise emails in a campaign leads to increased open and click through rates. Remember, It’s ok to repeat posts as it may take several views before a supporter will takes action.
Who to target - While it's best to send out your emails to your entire email list we have found that some organizations may struggle to find the right time to include ShopRaise into their current email schedules. One of the best ways to deal with this is to target a subset of your supporters that you can send an emails series to. This list should include some of your most active supporters such as , Staff, Board, Volunteers, Parents/Individuals served, Players / Coaches.
Create List - We recommend aiming for a group of at least 50-100 for charities, 10-50 for teams and schools. Smaller groups can work if they are highly engaged. The key is that they are people who really care about the work that you do and are willing to spread the word to their friends and family.
Messaging - You will find sample emails included in the Marketing Kit to promote your ShopRaise program. Use the content provided or create your own. Some of the most effective content focuses on retailers, or elements that are of interest to your supporters or closely support your program goals.

We have found that promoting offers for shopping opportunities centered around current holidays and events are a great way to raise more for your cause. Newsletters - Another great way to promote ShopRaise is through your newsletter. You can add a section to your newsletter with an offer of the week or month. Pick one or more of these offers feature in a shop to support section as a permanent part of your newsletter to your supporters. ShopRaise has offers happening all year-round so there is always a great deal that can significantly boost your earnings.
Post Donation Emails / confirmation emails - ShopRaise offers a post donation program that makes it easy to promote ShopRaise as part of the post donation email communications. This includes on the donation receipt email and follow ups.
